Attendee Profile: Youth and adults, from 8 to 80 years old. Entrance fee for the event will be $5.00 for adults (including 16+), kids under 16 are free. Exhibitor Requirements: Only Exhibitors that support our mission will be allowed to exhibit (ie: must relate to an outdoor activity and involve kids). We are asking each exhibitor to provide an activity for kids to do at their booth or area. This activity can be trying out the exhibit purpose, an educational activity or even a small give away. All activities must be approved by Wild Wings before registration is finalized. Exhibitors may charge for an activity, however, we are requesting that the fee is minimal to cover their expenses. One of the goals of the expo is not to make a profit, but charging a small fee to cover incurred expenses is acceptable. Exhibitors will be required to sign Liability Waivers, carry their own insurance for exhibits and will be expected to abide by Wild Wings exhibit requirements (ex: tent stakes & weights). More information will follow in the Exhibitor Handbook*. Exhibitor Booth Space: Exhibitors will be required to bring their own booth set up material, including outdoor tents and tables. The expo will not be canceled due to weather. Our landscape is not always flat, so exhibitors will be required to stake and weight tents - 10lbs weights per leg are required.. The *Exhibitor Handbook will detail these requirements. Electric is available at an additional charge (more information to follow). Cost to Exhibit: Because this the first year for this event, exhibitors will not be charged to participate. However, a REFUNDABLE deposit of $200.00 will be required in order to reserve your space. This deposit should be submitted to Wild Wings via a post dated Check and accompany your registration form. Your deposit check will be returned to you on the last day of the expo. Event Advertising: The MN Outdoor youth Expo is an investment in the future. Its focus is to bring youth closer to nature, educate families on outdoor skills and provide a variety of outdoor recreational options. Supporting the Youth Expo gives you an opportunity help bring together many great outdoor organizations (many of which are non-profit 501(c)(3)'s), who share this same goal (Washington County 4H, YMCS, Wildlife Science Center, just to name a few). Your sponsorship dollars will allow us to bring all of these organizations together to educate families. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund the event annually. We are seeking sponsorship for this event and offer Sponsor Packages. See our Sponsors page. These packages allow sponsors to select from various levels of donations and provide promotional opportunities. The Youth Expo will be advertised locally via various channels and we anticipate live coverage from TV and radio stations during the Expo. We will be working with Youth Organization leaders to provide these groups with an opportunity to raise funds for their organizations. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Wild Wings of Oneka. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. Deposits will not be refunded if you do not exhibit or if you cancel after March 28th, 2010 (60 days before the expo is scheduled).
